Turkiye arrests seven suspects for selling information to Israel’s spy agency

POLICE and officials from Turkiye’s MIT intelligence agency recently launched a joint raid in the cities of Istanbul and Izmir.

Seven people were arrested on suspicion of passing information to Israel’s spy agency Mossad.

The suspects were believed to have monitored and photographed the targets, as well as placed tracking devices on them to gain other information for Israel.

The latest arrest took place a month after Turkiye arrested 34 people suspected of spying on behalf of Mossad.

Meanwhile, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has warned Israel of “serious consequences” once it attempted to target Hamas members on Turkish soil.
