VICE President Sara Duterte personally visited the remains of Police Corporal Gilbert Joson Amper Jr., on the last night of his vigil in Brgy. Liboron, Calape, Bohol to extend condolences to his bereaved family.
Police Corporal Amper was lost in the middle of Intelligence Driven Joint Enhanced Military Police Operation (JEMPO) serving a warrant of arrest to Domingo Compoc, alias Cobra in the case of murder, attempted murder and attempted homicide in Barangay Campagao, Bilar, Bohol.
“My heartfelt condolences to the whole Philippine National Police for the loss of a brave member among your ranks.”
“I also personally extend my heartfelt condolences to his family, parents, siblings and nephews.”
“I salute the sacrifice and bravery shown by Police Corporal Amper to maintain order and peace in our town,” VP Sara Duterte stated.
She said the issue of peace and order is important as it serves as a bridge to development and progress of our communities and nation.
