SA ngayon, nasa 17 kaso na ang isinampa ng Philippine National Police (PNP) laban sa mga suspek sa pagpatay kay Governor Roel Degamo.
Kabilang sa mga isinampa ay kasong murder, frustrated murder at paglabag sa Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act at Illegal Possession of Explosives.
Ayon pa kay Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Sec. Benjamin Abalos, Jr. pinag-aaralan na rin nila ang pagsampa pa ng 13 kaso laban sa mga ito.
Kasama sa mga sasampahan ng kaso ay ang posibleng mastermind.
“Definitely po, the alleged mastermind will be included as respondents in the previously filed 17 cases plus the remaining 13 cases to be filed. Definitely po, the alleged mastermind will also be included there as respondent,” pahayag ni PNP spokesperson, Col. Jean Fajardo.
Hindi pa tinutukoy ng PNP at DILG ang mastermind, pero papangalanan nila ito sa panahon na masampahan ito ng kaso ,base sa extrajudicial confession ng mga naaresto na suspek.
“That is part of the investigation. The mastermind will be unmasked as soon as we file the cases po,” pagtatapos ni Fajardo.
