“It was past 15:00 when i heard the news. I called other relatives to see if my brother was working. When i heard my brother was there and they told me everyone died, i knew it was over, both my brother and sister-in-law. It’s so sad. I warned them about working there. Now they are gone.
“At around 15:30 in the afternoon, we received reports of an explosion at a fireworks factory. We rushed to check and found it was a factory that was operating legally. We are still looking into what caused the explosion. Our reports so far indicate that the number of deaths and bodies collected amount to more than 20. We are in the process of collecting the bodies and waiting on relevant agencies to collect evidence from the site to further investigate,” saad ni Tawan watthanarangsan Deputy superintendent, Suphan Buri Provincial Police Station.
