THREE female Coast Guardians were recognized by the Philippine Sports Commission during the 1st Women in Sports Awards Night at Rizal Memorial Stadium last 20 March 2024.
Coast Guard Lieutenant Commander Carina Dayondon, Coast Guard Petty Officer Second Class Nesthy Petecio, and Coast Guard Seawoman First Riezel Buenaventura were recognized for their accomplishments as female athletes who contributed to the development of their respective sports.
