PATAY ang 30 katao at marami ang sugatan matapos magbanggaan ang dalawang tren sa katimugang bahagi ng Pakistan, Lunes ng umaga (oras ng lugar).
Ayon sa railway officials, bumangga ang Sir Syed Express train sa Millat Express train sa Sindh Province sa pagitan ng dalawang railway stations.
Nagsagawa naman ng rescue operation ang mga opisyal sa mga na-trap na pasahero kung saan 23 katao ang nailigtas.
Nagpaabot naman ng pakikiramay si Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan sa mga biktima ng nasabing aksidente at nagpatupad ng malawakang imbestigasyon sa insidente.

“Shocked by the horrific train accident at Ghotki early this morning leaving 30 passengers dead,” ayon sa tweet ni Khan.
“Have asked Railway Minister to reach site and ensure medical assistance to injured and support for families of the dead. Ordering comprehensive investigation into railway safety faultlines,” dagdag pa nito.
