KATUWANG ang Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) BRP Capones (MRRV-4404) at DA-BFAR MCS 3001, maayos at ligtas na naihatid ang nasa 3,500 na food packs para sa mga residente ng Bongao, Tawi-Tawi.
Sa pangangasiwa ng Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) tiniyak ng ahensiya na makakarating ang tulong sa mga pamilyang nangangailangan.
Ayon kay Coast Guard District Southwestern Mindanao at BARMM Commander, CG Commodore Marco Antonio Gines, bukas ang kanilang serbisyo na maabot ang mga liblib na isla at iba’t ibang lugar mula sa mga serbisyo ng pamahalaan.
“The successful operation underscored the competence and commitment of the agencies involved in ensuring prompt and effective relief efforts throughout the Philippines,” pahayag ni Commodore Marco Antonio Gines, Commander, CG Southwestern Mindanao and BARMM.
