MAGBIBIYAHE pa rin sa Pilipinas kung may pagkakataon ang turistang Thai na nakaranas ng ekstorsyon mula sa ilang screening officers sa Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).
Sa isang eksklusibong panayam kay Kitja Thabthim, sinabi nito na bukas pa rin siya sa pagbibiyahe sa bansa sa kabila ng pangyayari.
“Ahhmm, at that time I have to say sorry to all Filipino because I have told to your officer that I won’t go back to the Philippines anymore because of.. Maybe just happened and I’m angry,” pahayag ni Kitja Thabthim, Thai tourist.
“But now no more anger. Yes, I understand and I also have Filipino colleagues that’s why I understand,” aniya pa.
Naiintindihan umano niya na sa bawat bansa ay mayroong mabuti at masamang tao at hindi naman ito nangangahulugan na lahat ng Pilipino ay masama.
“Actually in my company we have a Filipino colleagues and they are very good friend. They are friendly and good. About what happened I think, just a few person, just a few bad person not all the Filipino. I think, every country in the world have a good person and bad person,” aniya.
Nagpasalamat din ito sa lahat ng mensahe na natanggap niya mula sa mga Pilipino na humihingi ng paumanhin dahil sa pangyayari.
Nanawagan naman si Thabthim na sana ay turuan nang maayos ng mga awtoridad sa paliparan ng Pilipinas ang mga personnel nito upang maging maganda ang pakikitungo nito sa mga pasahero at maiwasan ang ganitong pangyayari.
“First of all, thank you all the Filipino for the DM they send me many many direct message and I would like to thank you for caring about me but don’t worry about it because it’s not your fault. It’s just those officer and the control of your airport authority of the Philippines. They should control their people to be good to be at the same standard of other airport. And thank you so much for that,” ayon pa kay Thabthim.
Kaugnay nito ay suspendido na ang 5 screening officers na sangkot sa pangyayari at nahaharap na ang mga ito sa criminal at administrative cases.
Matatandaan na nag-viral ang video na ipinost sa Facebook ng Thai tourist na si Piyawat Gunlayaprasit kung saan makikita na hinihiling ni Kitja Thabthim sa OTS officer na ibalik ang aabot sa 20,000 yen na kinuha mula rito.
