Most of the deals were linked to the energy sector including the establishment and delivery of at least six liquefied natural gas (LNG) carriers. The deal with Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC)is potentially worth $1.5 billion.

Sheikh Mohamed also discussed strategic cooperation in the four key areas of nuclear power, energy, investment, and defense with his South Korean counterpart Yoon Suk Yeol.

The Emirati leader reaffirmed UAE’s pledge last year to secure $30 billion worth of investments in South Korea.

Both sides also signed a comprehensive economic partnership agreement designed to enhance trade and expand market access.
