Senator Bong Go among frontrunners in latest Tangere survey: ‘Patuloy na serbisyong may malasakit!’

SENATOR Christopher “Bong” Go continues his high ratings, surging to the 2nd to 3rd spots in the latest Tangere Senatorial survey conducted from January 8 to 11, 2025. Garnering an impressive 50.96% voter preference, the senator is one of the frontrunners in the upcoming senatorial elections.

His consistent focus on public health initiatives and unwavering commitment to serving the underserved have earned him the moniker “Mr. Malasakit” and made him a key figure in the country’s “health reforms crusade.”

Go in response to the survey results.

This milestone builds on Go’s strong survey performance in previous months. The Tangere survey from November 6 to 9, 2024, placed him third with a 50.13% voter preference among 2,400 respondents. Similarly, in the latest Pulse Asia survey conducted from November 26 to December 3, Go ranked between 3rd and 4th, with his voting preference surging to 54.7% from 40.3% in September. His awareness rating reached an all-time high of 99%, reflecting his growing resonance with voters.

Recent data from the Social Weather Stations (SWS) December 2024 survey also show Go tied for the 3rd to 4th spots with a solid 32% voter preference.

Go has also shown remarkable performance in PUBLiCUS Asia Inc.’s PAHAYAG End-of-the-Year Survey from November 29 to December 3, climbing from fifth to fourth place in aided voting preferences and topping the unaided category. Additionally, in the Issues and Advocacy Center’s Pulso ng Pilipino Fourth Quarter Pre-Poll Survey conducted from November 5 to December 1, he maintained a strong fifth-place position with a 46.5% preference rating.

Throughout 2024, Go demonstrated consistent growth in voter support, ranking prominently in surveys by OCTA Research, PUBLiCUS, and Pulse Asia. In March 2024, Pulse Asia placed him in the 3rd to 4th spots with 44.2%, while OCTA Research ranked him 2nd to 3rd with a 49.9% voter preference.

Despite these, Senator Go remains humble and focused on his advocacy of compassionate service, particularly for accessible healthcare, youth empowerment, sports development, disaster preparedness, poverty alleviation, among others.

Patuloy po akong magtatrabaho at magseserbisyo sa abot ng aking makakaya,” said Go, emphasizing his readiness to carry on his mission.

Go also ranked 3rd to 5th in the latest PhilData Trends senatorial preference survey conducted from January 2 to 9, 2025. The survey results revealed that 51.6% of respondents expressed their intent to vote for Go.

Senator Go’s legislative accomplishments over the years have solidified his reputation as a public servant focused on bringing essential services closer to Filipinos. So far, Senator Go has authored 16 laws, principally sponsored 82 laws including 80 measures for the establishment or upgrade of public hospitals, and co-authored or co-sponsored 185 other laws.

Go’s legislative agenda centers on health, jobs, and livelihoods, demonstrating his commitment to uplifting the lives of Filipinos, especially the underprivileged. His priorities include improving healthcare access, creating sustainable jobs, and fostering economic resilience through targeted legislation.
