Army, Saint Luke’s Medical Center team-up for Batangas relief mission

THE Philippine Army’s Civil-Military Operations Regiment, the 59th Infantry (Protector) Battalion of the 2nd Infantry Division teamed up with the Saint Luke’s Medical Center to deliver 2,000 relief packs to typhoon-affected families in Batangas on October 27, 2024.

Army troops and Saint Luke’s Medical Center volunteers distributed food packs to evacuees at evacuation shelters in Barangay Sampaloc in Talisay and Colegio De Laurel Evacuation Center in Barangay As-is, Laurel in Batangas.

The collaborative initiative underscores the commitment of the Philippine Army and its partners to support affected communities, demonstrating the power of teamwork in delivering timely humanitarian assistance for families affected by “Kristine.”
