VICE President Sara Duterte could face the same assassination plot planned against former US President Donald Trump.
This was described by geopolitical analyst Herman “Ka Mentong” Laurel regarding the alleged harassment done by PNP Chief Marbil against the Vice President.
Ka-Mentong’s statement follows VP Sara’s open letter to Marbil.
“This is exactly what happened in the United States, the attempted assassination where a bullet grazed President Trump’s ear. The reason was that the US Secret Service also rejected additional security for President Trump. The Marcos administration wants the same thing to happen in this country,” said Herman “Ka Mentong” Laurel, Geopolitical Analyst.
He said that Marbil’s action of reducing the Vice President’s security was a huge mistake.
“It is a great mistake to withdraw security support from the Vice President by the police forces,” he added.
Former NPA Intel officer points out Marbil’s disrespect to duly elected official
For former CPP-NPA-NDF intelligence officer Jeffrey “Ka Eric” Celiz, Marbil’s action shows his lack of respect for the duly elected Vice President.
“It is very dangerous if the PNP Chief cannot respect or afford courtesy to the Vice President elected by the people. How can we expect the Chief PNP to respect ordinary people?” said Jeffrey “Ka Eric” Celiz, Former Cadre.
Ka-Eric emphasized that Marbil’s rudeness and abuse of power have long been directed at ordinary Filipinos, citing the example of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ and Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy.
“That is exactly what he mentioned, how the police hurt the youth, women, and indigenous people, unarmed civilians, and workers, as well as the religious missionaries of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ. Exactly how the VP described their bold attack against Pastor Quiboloy, who is not yet convicted but merely accused, and they treated him worse than a terrorist. That’s the message that the VP is conveying in her letter,” added Celiz.
This was agreed upon by former NTF-ELCAC official Dr. Lorraine Badoy.
“And because of the leadership of the PNP, you know what’s happening now. The public no longer trusts them because, under Marbil’s watch, the abuse against KOJC happened. The raid, the excessiveness of two battalions of SAF of CIDG with SWAT and snipers just to serve someone presumed innocent until proven guilty, like Pastor, and as a result, two died under Marbil’s watch,” said Dr. Lorraine Badoy, Former Spokesperson, NTF-ELCAC.

Badoy also emphasized Marbil’s embarrassing display of his abuse of power.
“If I were Marbil, I would die of shame. I would really be ashamed because Marbil put the VP in danger. But again, Marbil is obviously a person without his own stance and principles. Embarrassing, especially as a PMA graduate funded by the people,” said Badoy.
In the end, their message to Bongbong Marcos and Marbil is the same.
“If something happens to Vice President Sara Duterte, we hope not, but if something happens, it will be Bongbong Marcos who will be in trouble,” said Laurel.
“Exactly, if General Marbil did wrong against the VP, President Marcos should order the recall of that illegal and anomalous order to withdraw security from the Vice President,” said Celiz.
“We can see it’s very consistent, Filipinos are not stupid. We see that the VP is being pressured, so I would say to Marbil and Bongbong Marcos that if something happens to our VP, the 32 million Filipinos who voted for her will hold you accountable,” said Dr. Badoy.
