ATTY. Jimmy Bondoc clarified the controversial statement made by former President Rodrigo Roa Duterte about killing senators, stating it was just a joke and not a serious threat, despite some accusations of it being a warning.
“Do you really think the former president [Rodrigo Duterte] mean it? Magpapapatay siya ng mga senador? That was our proclamation and very clear, it was a joke, even the way he said it. But again, I’m not defending anyone, very clearly it was a joke,” stated Atty. Jimmy Bondoc.
