AN Aussie dad sprang into action after a pack of aggressive monkeys attempted to attack him and his young son while on a beach in Thailand.
Influencer couple Riley Whitelum and his wife Elayna, together with their two sons, visited Thailand for a memorable holiday.
While relaxing on a beach, a pack of monkeys took interest in their belongings and rummaged through their backpack, which contained money, passports, phones, and wallets.
One of the monkeys attacked his one-year-old son, forcing the 38-year-old father to engage in a fistfight with the monkeys so he could retrieve their belongings.
Whitelum managed to scare off the monkeys but was left with bites and scratches.
He also needed 10 rabies shots after being bitten.
The beach they have visited in the Ko Phi Phi islands is notorious for monkey attacks and said they wouldn’t have gone there if they only knew ahead of time.
