TESDA Manila initiated a collective effort with its partners as they give back and donate iftar meals to our brethren from the Muslim community through Manila Muslim Affairs (MMA) as they celebrate Ramadan.
A total of 475 packed meals with bottled water were turned over to the office of Director Shey Sakaluran Mohammad, Officer-In-Charge of MMA with the presence of TESDA Manila Supervising Specialist Mr. Eugene P. Agcaoili, Scholarship Focal Jaclyn M. Vidal, Information Officer Charo E. Perete and the President and Vice-President (External) of Association of Technical Schools in Manila (ATSMI) Ms. Riza D. Sorima-Matias and Dr. Glenn M. Blasquez to represent the participating partners.
Among the donors of the iftar meals were Arellano University, Inc., Manila Atelier of Food Arts and Hospitality, Inc., Magsaysay Center for Hospitality and Culinary Arts, Inc., MyChest Skills Institute Corp., Power Link Center for Advanced Technical Skills Development Inc., PSAA International Academy Inc. and Southern Institute of Maritime Studies-Manila Inc.
The success of this initiative highlights the power of collective action in addressing social challenges.
It exemplifies the spirit of Ramadan, where acts of kindness and generosity are amplified, inspiring hope and fostering a sense of belonging within the community.
In this breaking of fast, bridges were built, and bonds were strengthened, paving the way for a future partnership, as Dir. Mohammad extended her gratitude to TESDA Manila and partners.
