IN Beijing, China’s top legislator meets Vietnamese delegation.
Zhao Leji, chairman of the National People’s Congress (NPC) Standing Committee, met with the delegates representing the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) headed by Tran Cam Tu in the Chinese capital.
The Communist Party of Vietnam is the founding and sole legal party of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and has centralized control over the state, military, and media.
China‘s top legislator expressed willingness to maintain positive ties and close exchanges at all levels with the Vietnamese National Assembly.
Meanwhile, Tran Cam Tu, who serves as the head of the Communist Party’s Inspection Commission Committee pledged to deepen ties with China and to implement the important consensus reached by the top leaders of both countries.
The meeting comes after the Chinese legislator talked with the president of Vietnam during the third Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation held in Beijing last month.
