DEPARTMENT of Budget and Management (DBM) Secretary and Philippine Open Government Partnership (PH-OGP) Chairperson Amenah F. Pangandaman led the media launch for the upcoming OGP Asia and the Pacific Regional Meeting, which the Philippines will host on February 5-7, 2025.
“Inaasahan ko po ang inyong suporta, pakikiisa, at panalangin para sa isang matagumpay at makabuluhang OGP Asia and the Pacific Regional Summit,” the Budget Chief shared during the media launch on January 15, 2025 at the DBM Boncodin Hall.
Executive Secretary Lucas P. Bersamin delivered the welcome remarks and cited the event as a pivotal step towards enhancing democratic governance and empowering our citizens.
PH-OGP Champions, Public Services Labor Independent Confederation (PSLINK) President Dr. Annie Enriquez Geron and Caucus of Development Executive (CODE NGO) Director Sandino Soliman, shared their testimonials on the transformative impact of government and civil society collaboration.
OGP Communications, Content, and Community Engagement Director Rudi Borrmann, PH-OGP Co-Chairperson Aurora Reyes-Chavez, and Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte delivered their messages of support for the open government agenda.
