Deaths from Russian missile strike rise to 14

THE conflict between Russia and Ukraine grinds on every day, and now the death toll from Moscow’s recent early-morning missile strike across Ukraine increased to 14 after two more bodies were pulled from the rubble of a residential building in Uman City.

This was according to Ukraine’s State Emergency Service, and the search operation in Uman continues.

Russia hits Ukrainian military deployment points

Meanwhile, Russia’s latest report said their forces hit the deployment points of Ukrainian reserve forces with sea-based, long-range precision-guided weapons, while the Ukrainian side claimed that they repelled waves of attack from Russia.

Moscow troops also launched attacks against military targets in various regions, including Donetsk, Zaporizha, Kupyansk, Lyman, and Kherson, among others.

Russian forces took control of four blocks in Bakhmut after intense fighting, shot down a Ukrainian SU-24 aircraft, and carried out 24 air strikes and more than 20 rocket attacks.

On the other hand, the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense said their forces were attacked by Unmanned aerial vehicles and mortars in Kharkiv, and Kupyansk, among other places.

Ukrainian troops also repelled multiple ground attacks launched by Russia in Bakhmut and other places.
