THE Department of Education (DepEd), in partnership with the Private Education Assistance Committee (PEAC), strengthened their collaboration during the Workshop on Operationalizing the Public-Private Complementarity Framework.
Secretary Sonny Angara emphasized the importance of participatory governance and collaborative policy-making to nurture the complementary relationship between public and private institutions.
“Today, we will develop a plan of action toward changing that. We are no longer just regulators and stakeholders—we are co-authors of the education system we want to build,” said Sec. Sonny Angara.
