A new multipurpose structure that will function as a Barangay Health Center for Magsaysay residents in Aliaga has been completed by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) – Nueva Ecija 1st District Engineering Office (DEO).
Spanning 84.42 square meters, the one-storey building includes office space, a kitchenette, a restroom for persons with disabilities (PWDs), a porch, and a ramp to ensure full accessibility for all users.
“The facility is now ready to be used by Barangay Health Workers to deliver essential services to residents such as medical consultations, immunizations, maternal and child care, and health education,” OIC-District Engineer Jun Vana said.
Funded under the 2024 national budget, the P2.95-million project addresses the community’s urgent need for a more functional and accessible health service hub.#
