DSWD launches HELPS for minors traveling abroad

IN line with the Department of Social Welfare and Development—DSWD and the Department of Tourism’s (DOT) commitment to maintaining child safety during travel, DSWD has launched the Harmonized Electronic Licensing and Permit System (HELPS) for Minors Traveling Abroad (MTA).

This new system streamlines travel clearances and related processes by enabling online application submissions and efficient processing, making it easier and more convenient for parents and guardians to monitor their children’s applications.

By introducing a hassle-free platform that enhances accessibility and efficiency, this digital transformation reflects DSWD’s and DOT’s commitment to protecting and safeguarding Filipino children across the globe, ensuring a smoother and more secure travel experience.
