EDUCATION Secretary Sonny Angara convened the 24th Executive Committee (EXECOM) meeting on Tuesday, March 4. Top of mind for the officials is the Department’s response to the high heat index.
Sec. Sonny also led discussions on long-standing teacher concerns: simplifying school forms and clarifying the guidelines around the 30-day vacation.
“At the heart of our efforts is the commitment to empowering teachers, strengthening our schools, and creating safe, supportive learning environments, especially as we address concerns about the extreme heat in our schools,” stated Education Secretary Sonny Angara.
