Filipinos in Osaka celebrate ‘‘International Day’’

VARIOUS nationalities including Filipinos celebrated ‘‘International Day’’ in the prefecture of Osaka, Japan.

Tourists, Japanese Citizens, and foreign residents gathered to celebrate International Day in Osaka.

On Sunday, the Filipino community held a Zumba dance performance featuring songs in various Filipino dialects.

Nationalities from South Korea, Africa, Peru, Thailand, Vietnam, and the Philippines, among others, attended the annual event by performing and displaying their food in stalls to promote their country’s local cuisine.

This year’s theme was “A society in which foreign residents in Japan can live easily as well as the society in which Japanese people can live easily’’.
