PATAPOS na ayon sa Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) ang ginagawang hangar sa Pagasa Island sa West Philippine Sea (WPS).
Ayon kay AFP Western Command Vice Admiral Alfonso Torres Jr., bago pa matapos ang taon ay makukumpleto na ito.
Kung makukumpleto na ito, magiging control tower at headquarters ito ng Philippine Air Force-Tactical Operations Group habang minomonitor ang buong Kalayaan Island Group.
Ang Pagasa Island ang pinakamalaking maritime feature sa buong Kalayaan Island Group.
