Hezbollah hints of surprise attack on Israel

HEZBOLLAH, which is part of the so-called Axis of Resistance led by Iran, warned Israel to be ready for surprises from the group.

Hassan Nasrallah, the Secretary-General of the Lebanon-based resistance made the warning to mark the 24th anniversary of Resistance and Liberation Day.

Nasrallah said Israel has not achieved any of its goals by launching a war in Gaza.

The group’s Secretary-General was referring to Israeli National Security Council head Tzachi Hanegbi’s statement that they have not achieved any of the strategic goals and it may take years.

However, the Israeli official said that his country has the right to defend itself after the International Court of Justice (ICJ) ordered Israel to immediately halt its military offensive.

The Lebanon-based group also asserted the recognition of the Palestinian state by several European countries.

He added that Israel getting summoned before the International Criminal Court (ICC) was one of the results of the October 7 attack launched by Hamas also known as the “Al-Aqsa Flood battle.”

Fighting between Israel and Hamas is now approaching its eighth month with no end in sight to the deadly clashes.
