INILABAS na ng Medusa hackers ang mga datos na nakuha nito sa Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth).
Ito ang kinumpirma ng Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT).
Ayon kay DICT Usec. Jeffrey Ian Dy na kabilang sa mga datos na inilabas ng Medusa hackers ay mga identification card ng PhilHealth employees, payroll information, 1×1 photos ng mga indibidwal, office files, memos, at ilang billing statements.
‘‘As of now, what we know is that there are IDs of PhilHealth employees, payroll information, 1×1 photos of individuals, office files, memos, some billing statements, etc. which were released by the hackers,’’ ayon kay Usec. Jeffrey Ian Dy, Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT).
Dagdag pa ni Dy na sa ngayon inaalam pa nila ang buong data na na-publish ng mga hacker.
‘‘We’re still getting the full data being published,’’ dagdag pa ni Usec. Dy.
PhilHeath, muling binigyang-diin na hindi apektado ang personal records ng mga miyembro ng Medusa attack
Muli namang binigyang-diin ng PhilHeath sa kanilang pahayag na hindi apektado ng hacking ang server na naglalaman ng mga private information ng mga miyembro kabilang ang membership database, claims, contributions at accreditation information.
‘‘The ransomware did not affect our servers containing members’ private information. PhilHealth’s membership database, claims, contribution and accreditation information which are stored in a separate database are intact and completely unaffected by the cyberattack,’’ ayon pa sa PhilHeath.
Dagdag ng state insurer na ang mga application server at work stations ng mga empleyado ang tanging naapektuhan ng cyberattack.
‘‘Only the application servers and employees’ work stations have been affected by the said cyberattack,’’ ani PhilHealth.
Matatandaan na humihingi ng $300,000 o humigit-kumulang P17-M na ransom ang mga hacker kapalit ng mga nakuha nilang datos sa PhilHealth.
Pero ayon sa PhilHealth na nanindigan ang gobyerno na hindi babayaran ang nasabing ransom.
