IPAGPAPALIBAN sa Hunyo 11 ang presentasyon ng Articles of Impeachment laban kay Vice President Sara Duterte, ito ay ayon mismo kay Senate President Chiz Escudero.
“With only six session days before the sine die adjournment, it is imperative for the Senate and the House of Representatives to prioritize the passage of these measures, consistent also with the administration’s thrust to align our government with the people’s needs and expectations,” ayon kay Sen. Francis “Chiz” Escudero.
Hindi umano ito prayoridad ng Senado sa ngayon, lalo’t anim na session days na lamang ang natitira bago ang sine die adjournment ng 19th Congress sa Hunyo 14.
Sa isang liham kay House Speaker Martin Romualdez, sinabi ni Escudero na may labingdalawang panukalang batas na dapat tutukan, gaya ng:

Bukod dito, kailangan ding aksyunan ng Senado ang kumpirmasyon ng mahigit 200 presidential appointments, kabilang na ang ilang Cabinet secretaries, foreign service officers, at opisyal ng AFP.
Matatandaang nakatakda sana sa Hunyo 2 ang presentasyon ng impeachment articles, pero sa dami ng kailangang unahing trabaho, ipinagpaliban ito para bigyang-daan ang mas mahahalagang lehislatibong tungkulin.
Sa Hunyo 11 na lamang tatalakayin ng Senado ang impeachment laban kay Vice President Duterte. Pero ayon kay Senate President Escudero, mas mahalaga muna ngayon ang mga batas na makakatulong sa mamamayan.
