Iran-backed group warns to retaliate if US airstrikes continue

AMERICAN forces launched its fourth round of retaliatory airstrikes against Iranian proxies in Iraq.

The United States Central Command and defense officials said that US fighter jets struck two facilities used by Iranian-backed militias on Wednesday.

American officials said the airstrikes were a response to dozens of attacks launched by Iran-backed groups against US Forces in Iraq and Syria.

Pentagon Deputy Press Secretary Sabrina Singh told reporters US forces have been attacked approximately 66 times since October 17.

The attacks started more than a week after Hamas’ deadly terror attack on Israel.

Meanwhile, militia officials in Iraq claimed that the US airstrikes on Wednesday had killed eight members of Hezbollah Brigades in the Iraqi capital of Baghdad and vowed to retaliate if the attacks continue.
