A group of politicians in Japan formed a meeting to investigate the UFOs phenomenon.
Former Minister of Defense and current House of Representatives member Yasukazu Hamada was appointed as the chairperson of the nonpartisan group that will uncover and explore mysteries concerning UFOs.
Once arrangements are finalized, the group will formally request that the Japanese government create an organization similar to the Pentagon’s All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) that would study UFO sightings that occur in the skies of Japan.
The group will pursue cooperation with Washington by forming a counterpart organization and is asking for support from parliament members.
The organization will investigate the long-standing mystery of UFOs observed in the skies of Japan in recent years.
A formal investigation will be launched to determine whether the UFOs observed could be cutting-edge secret weapons or unmanned spy drones from other countries which would present a major security threat to Japan if proven so.
A website owned by the Pentagon named Japan one of the three prominent locations for unexplained aerial sightings in the world, with Linomachi known as ‘UFO Town’.
The lawmakers will meet again on the 6th of June after the preliminary talks on Tuesday.
