NANGAKO si House Speaker Martin Romualdez na doble kayod silang magtatrabaho sa susunod na taon para makapagpasa ng mga panukalang batas na makatutulong sa pagbangon ng ekonomiya.
Saad ni Romualdez, agad silang magtatrabaho sa pagbabalik sesyon para agad maisabatas ang mga panukalang makapag-aangat sa buhay ng mga Pilipino.
Para matiyak ang gains ng Marcos administration, tututukan ng Kamara sa resumption ng sesyon ang mga sumusunod:
– The Enactment of an Enabling Law for the Natural Gas Industry,
– Amendments to the Electric Power Industry Reform Act (EPIRA),
– The Unified System of Separation, Retirement, and Pension,
– The E-Governance Act and E-Government Act,
– The National Land Use Act,
– The National Defense Act,
– The National Government Rightsizing Program,
– The Budget Modernization Bill,
– The Department of Water Resources,
– Establishing the Negros Island Region,
– Magna Carta for Filipino Seafarers, and
– The Establishment of Regional Specialty Hospitals.
Ang mga nabanggit na panukala ay kabilang sa priority bills ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. na tinukoy ng Legislative-Executive Development Advisory Council (LEDAC).
