NAHIHIRAPANG makarekober ang mga residente ng Noto Region sa Ishikawa Prefecture ng Japan matapos ang pagyanig na umabot sa 7.6 magnitude noong Bagong Taon.
Ayon kay Masahiro Takahashi, residente sa lugar na ang bahay ay 20 metro ang layo sa coastline, ang kaniyang tinitirhan ay binaha dahil sa tsunami, lahat aniya ng mga appliance ng kanilang pamilya ay nasira din ng baha.
“I saw reports of a potential five-meter high tsunami during the earthquake, so I drove to a higher ground at an elevation of 30 meters immediately. Later, I heard that the tsunami had receded, so I returned home the next morning, only to find that my house had been flooded,” ayon kay Masahiro Takahashi, Lokal na Residente, Noto Region.
“The refrigerator and washing machine were both flooded and don’t work now,” dagdag ni Takahashi.
“The air conditioner has also been soaked in floodwater, and it is not working now,” aniya.
Sa ngayon ang mga lokal na residente ay nahaharap sa maraming pagsubok dahil sa mga aftershock, sirang mga kalsada at kakulangan sa suplay.
Ayon pa kay Takahashi, ang underground water ay hindi available sa lugar sa nakalipas na dalawang araw.
“The underground water was turbid for about three to four days after the earthquake. It has gradually become clearer now,” aniya pa.
“My home has turned into a mess, and the only thing I can do is to clean it up little by little so I can live in,” dagdag nito.
Sa kasalukuyan, umabot na sa 206 na katao ang nasawi sa nasabing lindol.
