THE death toll in the Israel-Hamas war has reached more than 19,600 amid calls for a humanitarian truce.
According to the recent report of the Gaza Health Ministry, the Palestinian death toll from the ongoing Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip has mounted to 18,412.
Ministry Spokesman Ashraf Al-Qudra said that 50,100 other people were injured.
The Israeli death toll in the Hamas attack stood at 1,200, as per official figures.
10 Israeli soldiers killed in Northern Gaza
Meanwhile, 10 Israeli soldiers were killed in the fighting Northern Gaza, making it the deadliest day for the troops since their ground offensive against Hamas began.
According to the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), 9 of the 10 soldiers that were killed had been fighting in Shejaya, to the east of Gaza City, after they fell victim to a coordinated ambush.
