NORTH Korea made a grave warning after reportedly firing cruise missiles into the sea following the conclusion of the 11-day summer military drills between the U.S. and South Korea.
South Korea’s military said it detected the cruise missile launches on Saturday morning off North Korea’s West Coast, as said by Seoul’s Joint Chiefs of Staff.
South Korean and U.S. intelligence authorities are currently analyzing the details of North Korea’s launches.
Seoul, meanwhile, boosted its surveillance and maintained military readiness in close coordination with Washington.
To recall, North Korean Leader Kim Jong Un views the military drills as a rehearsal for invasion, but both countries insist that their exercises are defensive.
