THE Armed Forces and Police Mutual Benefit Association, Inc. (AFPMBAI) formally turned over a brand-new service van to the Coast Guard Nursing Service (CGNS) in a ceremony held at the Coast Guard Base Taguig, yesterday 20 May 2025.
During the event, officials signed the deed of donation, led by the Head of Sales and Operations Group and Chief Operating Officer of AFPMBAI, Vice Admiral Eduardo Fabricante PCG (Ret) along with the Chief Nurse, Philippine Coast Guard, Commodore Lysamyra Marie Gavan NC PCG.
According to the Chief Nurse of the PCG, Commodore Gavan, symbolic gesture signified the formal handover of the vehicle and the shared commitment to improving healthcare support for the PCG.
“The donated van is intended to serve the logistical and transport needs of the Coast Guard Nursing Service, which plays a vital role in delivering healthcare support to Coast Guard personnel, their dependents, and authorize civilians,” Commodore Gavan furthered.
“This turnover ceremony stands as a testament to the continued collaboration between AFPMBAI and PCG, fostering a culture of mutual support and service,” Commodore Gavan emphasized.
Other AFPMBAI key officials were also present during the ceremony, Head of the National Capital Region Sales and Services Center (NCRSSC), Ms. Angelina Jutie as well as the Head of the Social Services Office (SSO), Mr. Jeff Matther Uy. Apart from them, SSO Supervisor, Ms. Jennifer Callo and AFPMBAI staff, Mr. Airon Paul Joves.
