THE Philippine Army Arnis exhibition group showcased its collective skill, discipline and strength in a performance during the 127th Philippine Army Foundation Day which also coincided with the culmination of Exercise Katihan at the Makabulos Grandstand, Camp O’Donnell, Capas, Tarlac on March 22, 2024.
During the program, Army personnel demonstrated Arnis techniques and skills that are designed to be applied effectively in real-world scenarios. It can be noted that Arnis became the national martial art and sport in 2009 through Republic Act 9850 with the Armed Forces of the Philippines serving as one of the government entities overseeing its implementation.
