“Your continued understanding and support for these measures are crucial in maintaining the safety and well-being of our nation’s leadership,” PSG Commander Major General Nelson Morales said.

Morales added that this decision not only ensured President Marcos’s safety but also demonstrated PSG’s commitment to prioritizing security in the face of unexpected challenges.

“This decision not only ensured the safety of our leader but also exemplified our commitment to prioritizing security in the face of unexpected challenges,” he added.

To recall, on Friday, January 19, the President faced criticism from netizens for using the presidential chopper to attend the concert, despite the severe traffic conditions experienced by Filipinos.

Meanwhile, the Philippine Arena in Bulacan experienced an unexpected influx of approximately 40,000 individuals eager to attend the rock band’s concert.

The event resulted in unforeseen traffic complications.

And this is why PSG took such action, according to Morales, such situation could potentially pose a threat to the security of the President.
