AS part of her official travel to Negros Oriental, Tourism Secretary Christina Garcia Frasco, together with national and local officials, on Monday (Feb. 3) inspected the newly constructed Dauin Jetty Port, which was inaugurated last year.
The Dauin Jetty Port, offering relaxing and scenic views of the seas, serves as the main gateway for boats traveling to and from the famous Apo Island and nearby islands such as Siquijor and Dipolog.
In addition to facilitating access to these popular destinations, the port plays a key role in helping Dauin monitor and track tourist arrivals, ensuring better management of the tourist influx to the world-renowned Apo Island.
