Singapore announced new Kidney Health Program

THE National Kidney Foundation (NKF) Singapore has announced a new program aimed at improving kidney health and preventing kidney disease, and The Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KJC) Society Singapore has partnered with the organization to give a boost to this program.

Over 300,000 people in Singapore suffer from chronic kidney disease, while many more remain undiagnosed, despite efforts of the government to create awareness about this illness.

With this, The KJC Society Singapore has collaborated with the NKF to help promote its programs and its efforts to combat this disease.

Every day, 6 patients face the devastating diagnosis of kidney failure.

Many have to turn to lifelong dialysis to stay alive.  Yet, treatment costs are hefty, making it a significant financial burden especially for low-income families.

With this, the NKF has launched the program “Kidney Health for All,” which will focus on boosting awareness and information dissemination and education about the importance of kidney health, on how to prevent kidney disease, while offering support to those who are already living with kidney disease.

As part of the program, the NKF will be offering a range of services, including health screenings, educational workshops, and support groups.

These services will be available to everyone, regardless of their income or background.  Apart from this, the NKF has also announced plans to expand its research efforts to improve the people’s understanding of kidney disease and developing new treatments.

Seeing this noble cause to create awareness for a life-long and deadly disease, The KJC collaborated with NKF, to help promote the programs and various efforts of the foundation in every way.  Volunteers from the KJC will be assisting the NKF in conducting seminars, team building activities, and in reaching out to those who are in need of assistance—both the kidney patients and their families.

Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy‘s love can accommodate all humanity, and he never hesitated to send his volunteers to help the NKF in whatever way they can–especially in educating more Singaporeans about the necessity in spreading awareness in combating this disease.
