Soon-to-rise 3-storey Tayabas Health Center to provide quality healthcare in Manila City

TO promote healthcare access to underserved populations facing barriers to medical services, the Department of Public Works and Highways – North Manila District Engineering Office initiated the construction of the three-storey Tayabas Health Center building at Molave Street, Barangay 228, Zone 1, Tondo, Manila.

The three-storey building, approved by the Department of Health (DOH), will serve as the Barangay’s health center designed to provide free consultations and medical treatments to the residents in surrounding areas.

As such, this important health infrastructure facility will feature 18 functional rooms such as Minor Surgical Room; Treatment Room; Records Room; Reception Room; Consultation Room; TB Dots; Physician’s Room; Dental Room; Counseling Room; ECG/Ultrasound Room; Nursing Room; Midwife and Breast-feeding Room; Conference Room; X-Ray Room; Control Boot/Dressing Area; and Pantry Area.

This project is just one of the many initiatives of the DPWH-NCR in hopes of bringing essential government services closer to people in Manila City.
