THE Swedish Defence Procurement Agency signed a deal to buy 321 six-wheeled armored vehicles from the international defense and technology company Patria.
Patria is owned by manufacturers from Finland, Norway, and the Czech Republic.
The contract was worth 470 million euros.
The deal was one of the largest contracts signed between Sweden and Patria.
The advanced military vehicle offers state-of-the-art protection for up to 12 crew members and will be deployed in several parts of the country.
Sweden announced the purchase after it was declared the 32nd member of NATO on March 7, 2024.
