The CGDCV remains dedicated to fostering collaboration and strengthening maritime security efforts across the region

THE Coast Guard District Central Visayas (CGDCV) successfully hosted the Third Quarter VJPSCC hybrid meeting today, at Hawanan ni Lapu-Lapu, CGDCV Headquarters, Pier 3, Arellano Boulevard, Cebu City, 10 December 2024.

The meeting was co-chaired by Commodore Weniel A. Azcuna, PCG, Commander, CGDCV; LTGEN Fernando M Reyeg, Commander, VISCOM; and PLTGEN Robert T Rodriguez, Commander, APC-Visayas (Represented by PBGEN Rogelio P Simon, Executive Officer, APC-Visayas).

Discussions centered on enhancing inter-agency efforts to combat maritime crimes, improve disaster response, and ensure peace and security in the Visayas region.

A key highlight of the event was the signing of the Joint Maritime Operation Plan (JMOP), underscoring the commitment of all agencies to unified and proactive measures for a safer maritime domain.

The CGDCV remains dedicated to fostering collaboration and strengthening maritime security efforts across the region.
