PUPUNTA sa bansa si United Nations (UN) Special Rapporteur Mama Fatima Singhateh ngayong Disyembre 8.
Ito’y para makipagkita at makipag-usap kay Department of Justice (DOJ) Sec. Jesus Crispin Remulla.
Ayon kay DOJ spokesperson Mico Clavano, tatalakayin ng dalawa ang tungkol sa mga kaso ng online sexual abuse at exploitation ng mga kabataan sa Pilipinas.
Umaasa ani Clavano ang DOJ na makakatulong ang pagbisita ni Singhateh sa bansa para magkaroon ng solusyon kontra sexual offenders.
Maliban sa DOJ, makikipagkita rin ang UN rapporteur sa loob ng halos 2 linggong pagbisita nito sa mga opisyal ng Council for the Welfare of Children, Department of Social Welfare and Development, Presidential Human Rights Committee Secretariat at Philippine National Police.
