FORMER Malacañang official says Vice President and Education Secretary Sara Duterte‘s performance is a good shot for the public, contrary to what First Lady Liza Marcos said that the vice president is bad shot to her.
“Ma’am, you seem to be the only one saying that VP is a bad shot to you. For the Filipino people, VP is a good shot,” Atty. Harry Roque, Former Palace Official stated.
Atty. Harry Roque, a former Palace official, rebutted former First Lady Liza Marcos‘s criticism of Vice President and Education Secretary Sara Duterte, stating that the Filipino people view the vice president favorably.
According to Roque, the negative opinion of Liza Marcos towards the Vice President Duterte holds very little weight, as the latter maintains high trust and performance ratings.
“It seems insignificant that VP is considered a bad shot by the First Lady because when it comes to trust and approval ratings, our Vice President excels. The performance of the department led by the Vice President also remains impressive,” added Atty. Roque.
Based on the latest Publicus Asia survey, Vice President Duterte remains the most trusted among top government officials in the country, garnering a 46% trust and 53% approval rating in the first quarter of 2024.
Furthermore, Vice President Duterte received a 67% performance rating and a 71% trust rating in the Pulse Asia survey.
According to the OCTA Research People’s Response Survey for the first quarter, the Department of Education, headed by Vice President Duterte, continues to be trusted, with an 82% trust rating.
The same survey by DepEd also shows an 84% performance rating, earning it the top spot as the best-performing government agency.
