VP Sara remains unfazed by ICC investigation

AFTER her recent activities in Malaysia, Vice President Sara Duterte responded to questions regarding the International Criminal Court (ICC) investigation.

But the Vice President shrugged it off, saying that she is not bothered by it.

‘‘Well, for me, I cannot speak for the other members of the family. For me, I am not bothered because I also seek legal advice from Filipino lawyers who are knowledgeable about International Law,’’ according to Vice President Sara Duterte, Republic of the Philippines.

She mentioned that she and her father, former President Rodrigo Roa Duterte do not discuss anything about the ICC issue.

Still, Vice President Duterte remains confident that the former president is consulting with lawyers.

‘‘I am sure he has lawyers he talks to because President Duterte is also a lawyer. So, he understands the legal implications and procedures at the ICC,’’ VP Sara Duterte said.

But, Duterte challenged Lascañas to prove his accusations against her.

‘‘In fact, I am challenging him [Lascañas] to file a murder case against me in the Philippines,’’ said Vice President Duterte.
