VP Sara visits Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia with a participant of You Can Be VP program

DURING the official visit of Vice President and Education Secretary Sara Duterte to Malaysia last month, she was with a participant of the You Can Be VP program, Elize.

Elize is 16 years old and a Junior High School in Sta. Cruz High Integrated School and hails from the town of Lubao in the province of Pampanga.

VP Sara was with her in all of her official walks like courtesy calls, visits in a vocational school and SEAMEO Center so that she can experience and see the job of being a Vice President because according to her, it’s her dream to be a public servant like VP Sara.

You Can Be VP is a program in the Office of the Vice President that focuses on enriching the spirit of public service and transformational leadership of our youth.

Its purpose is to give exceptional young people the opportunity to experience and see what the Vice President do.

According to Elize, she will never forget her experience in Malaysia and she was even more inspired to study hard to finish and achieve her dreams.

With this, VP Sara hopes Elize will serve as an inspiration to our Filipino youth to study hard and graduate because education is one of the keys to a good life for oneself and family.
