Zelenskyy: War is coming to Russia

UKRAINIAN President Volodymyr Zelenskyy made a warning hours after a drone attacked the Russian capital of Moscow.

IN a series of recent drone attacks, Russia said Ukrainian forces targeted a police station hit overnight in the frontier region of Briansk.

The regional governor, Alexander Bogomaz, confirmed the incident and reported no casualties.

Prior to this, Ukraine’s drones had attacked Moscow, damaging two office towers and briefly halting services at an international airport.

The attack damaged two office towers and briefly shut down an international airport.

Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin took to telegram and said no one suffered injuries and reported “slight damage” to the facades of two city office towers.

Russia’s defense ministry claimed to have shot down one drone on the outskirts of Moscow and suppressed two others with electronic warfare.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky escalated tensions, stating that the “war” was coming to Russia, with the conflict gradually returning to Russian territory.

The situation remains tense, with both sides exchanging accusations and warnings of further retaliations.

This is not the first time Russia has accused Ukraine of using drones to target its capital.

In May, Kremlin claimed an assassination attempt on President Vladimir Putin’s life through a similar attack.

In response, Russia vowed to take tough retaliatory measures and said that such attacks as terrorist methods by Ukraine’s military-political leadership to intimidate civilians.
