14 priority measures ng Marcos Admin, nalagdaan na bilang batas

PINANGUNAHAN ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. ang ika-apat na Legislative-Executive Development Advisory Council (LEDAC) Meeting sa Malacañang nitong Martes, Marso 19.

Sa naturang pulong, binalikan ng Council ang progreso ng LEDAC-Common Legislative Agenda (CLA).

Sa 57 kabuuang bilang ng Common Legislative Agenda bills para sa 19th Congress, 14 ang nalagdaan na bilang batas habang 43 ang natitira.

Sakop ng 14 na panukalang batas ang pagpapabuti sa kabuhayan, kalikasan, at seguridad ng bansa.

Nilagdaan bilang batas ang SIM Card Registration Act, Postponement of Barangay/SK Elections, Strengthening Professionalism in the AFP, New Agrarian Emancipation Act, Maharlika Investment Fund, Trabaho Para sa Bayan Act, Public-Private Partnership Code of the Philippines, Regional Specialty Centers, Automatic Income Classification of LGUs, Internet Transactions Act, Ease of Paying Taxes Act, Tatak Pinoy (Proudly Filipino) Act, Philippine Salt Industry Development Act, at New Philippine Passport Act.

Kabilang naman sa target ipasa na legislative measures sa katapusan ng Hunyo ang mga sumusunod:

Amendments to Anti-Agricultural Smuggling Act/Anti-Agricultural Economic Sabotage Act, Self-Reliant Defense Posture Act, Philippine Maritime Zones Act, Real Property Valuation and Assessment Reform Act, Philippine Ecosystem and Natural Capital Accounting System (PENCAS), at ang Negros Island Region Act.

Kasama rin ang Anti-Financial Accounts Scamming Act, Value Added Tax on Digital Services, Amendments to the Government Procurement Reform Act, Blue Economy Act, Waste-to-Energy Bill, Mandatory Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) and National Service Training Program (NSTP), Unified System of Separation, Retirement, and Pension of Military and Uniformed Personnel, E-Government Act/E-Governance Act, at Academic Recovery and Accessible Learning (ARAL) Program Act.

Nagbigay naman ng commitment ang Senado at Kamara kay Marcos Jr. na ipapasa ang 23 priority legislation ng administrasyon sa Hunyo ngayong taon.

Samantala, nagbigay rin ang Department of Budget and Management (DBM) ng updates sa national budget ng bansa para sa Fiscal Year (FY) 2024 na nagkakahalaga ng P5.768-T.

Ipinahayag ng DBM na napakahalaga ng nasabing pambansang pondo sa pagsasakatuparan ng mga tinukoy na priority bills.
