Philippine Navy chief visits NFWM for Christmas celebration

BAGONG Calarian, Zamboanga City – Rear Admiral Jose Ma Ambrosio Q. Ezpeleta, the 41st Flag Officer In Command (FOIC) of the Philippine Navy, visited the Naval Forces Western Mindanao (NFWM) on December 9, 2024, as part of his official Christmas tour to connect with Navy personnel and boost their morale.

Upon his arrival, RADM Ezpeleta received a warm welcome with full military honors from NFWM’s leadership and officers from its units in Western Mindanao. The visit included a Unit Briefing where he was updated on NFWM’s operations and capabilities, offering solutions to challenges shared by the command.

To celebrate the season, NFWM showcased lively Christmas performances that highlighted the talent and unity of Navy personnel, spreading holiday cheer throughout the event.

During a gathering at Tangan Gym, RADM Ezpeleta delivered an inspiring Christmas message. He thanked Navy personnel for their hard work and dedication, emphasizing the value of teamwork, discipline, and resilience in safeguarding the nation’s maritime interests. He also shared his warm holiday wishes, encouraging everyone to continue their outstanding service as they look forward to the new year.
