NAKIISA si Vice President Sara Duterte sa selebrasyon ng Spring Festival o Chinese New Year ng Chinese Embassy.
Sa isang video message, binigyang-diin ni VP Sara ang mga hangaring nagbubuklod at gumagabay sa China at Pilipinas patungo sa isang mas maliwanag na hinaharap.
Kinilala rin ng bise ang limang dekada nang diplomatic relations sa pagitan ng dalawang bansa.
‘’This year is especially meaningful as we celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Philippines and China. Over five decades, our nations have sought to enrich our bilateral relations on the basis of sovereignty, equality, achieving milestones in various areas of cooperation,’’ ayon kay Vice President Sara Duterte.
Ipinunto rin ni VP Sara ang pagtutulungan para tugunan ang mga hamong kinakaharap ng dalawang bansa.
‘’As we honor this legacy, let us look ahead with hope and determination, working together to address common challenges and foster a harmonious and prosperous future for all,’’ saad nito.
Nagbigay pugay naman si Chinese Ambassador to the Philippines Huang Xilian sa mga henerasyon ng mga lider ng China at Pilipinas at sa lahat ng mga nag-ambag sa pag-unlad ng bilateral relations ng dalawang bansa.
Umaasa rin si Ambassador Huang na pagtutuunan ng pansin ng parehong bansa ang aniya’y “original aspirations” at magtulungan upang itaguyod ang bilateral relations na magdadala ng mas malalaking benepisyo sa 1.5 bilyong tao ng China at Pilipinas.
‘’I look forward to seeing both sides remain committed to the original aspiration, answer to the call of our two peoples, and work together to promote the bilateral ties, so as to bring even greater benefits to the 1.5 billion people of our two countries together,’’ wika ni Chinese Ambassador to the Philippines Huang Xilian.
