Army Chief lauds Army blood donors

ARMY Chief Lt. Gen. Roy M. Galido lauded the Philippine Army personnel nationwide who participated in the recently concluded two-day Simultaneous Blood Donation Activity on March 8 to 9, 2024.

In his message during the Health and Wellness Fair at the HPA Grandstand, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City, the Army Chief recognized the willingness of the Army personnel to volunteer their services and lives for the Filipino people and the nation.

He also emphasized the importance of the blood donation drive in promoting and maintaining a healthy lifestyle among the soldiers nationwide.

The donation drive, with a respective 70%-30% distribution for the public and the Philippine Army, yielded a total of 27,932 blood bags collected from more than 47,000 Army personnel, reservists, and ROTC cadets nationwide.
